I have a WinXP Media Center PC and a Vista Business Upgrade DVD. Can I install Vista on a separate partition? - vista business upgrade

Do I need a Windows installation on the partition, or can I remove the installation and select another partition, install the dual boot?

You have the ability to install Windows on multiple partitions, as long as I can remember, should be well with Vista. Even if you say it's an upgrade, "" DVD, which I do not use. I just want to load the DVD and see what happens.

You need a Windows installation on each partition.
